We are currently hiring for the following position:

Position: Sr. Sales Account Manager

Job Location: Upper Marlboro, MD

Job Description:
We are currently looking for inside sales account managers. You will be involved in buying and selling IT equipment and computer/server components to businesses of all sizes all over the world. As a member of our sales team, you will develop accounts, find new leads, communicate and negotiate with buyers while growing your own account base. This position is centered in a fast-paced, open working environment with no limit to a single territory. We are looking for highly-motivated candidates who can get up to speed quickly and are driven to succeed financially. You will be challenged from the first day to take risks, think big, and make an impact, while getting lots of support from our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish new sales opportunities with both inside & outside responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and an organized work environment
  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business; This may include cold calls, presentations/proposals.
  • Establish new sales opportunities with both inside & outside responsibilities
  • Demonstrated success calling on decision makers from small to medium large enterprise companies at various levels.

  • Demonstrated self-starter; capable of problem solving and negotiating
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Position: Server Technician

Job Location: Upper Marlboro, MD

Job Description:
We are looking to add a Server Technician to our team. The Server Technician supports Stallion Technology customers through the diagnosis, repair, and upgrade of their server systems. The qualified candidate should have a passion for the computer/server tech industry, and knowledge of computer hardware components and systems. 3+ year relevant experience is REQUIRED.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Receive systems and components to be tested and repaired
  • Be able to apply standard test procedures to test system or component functionality
  • Adapt established processes and procedures to diagnose problem, and repair or replace defective components to resolves product issues
  • Replace defective components and test the final product to assure that quality requirements are met
  • Work collaboratively; assist and guide coworkers when needed
  • Maintain accurate records and monthly reports, update knowledgebase, document repair process
  • Follow Stallion Technologies safety/quality policies and procedures
  • Maintenance and updates for all servers and patching for vulnerabilities
  • Responding to any catastrophic failures
  • Providing on-site support for end users
  • Maintaining Documentation
  • Monitoring Backup jobs
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in-line with Server Technician requirements.
  • Proficient with IT security practices and standards
  • Good understanding of security issues relating to administrative, software and communications components, software development, operations and disaster recovery
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Work in a very dynamic, fast paced environment where all team members demonstrate adaptability, initiative, resourcefulness and adeptness
  • Proven ability to discuss, advise, coordinate and document processes with people from varying disciplines
  • Good understanding of application threats, vulnerabilities, safeguards and secure development processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Additional technical certifications (A+, Server+, or MCP, etc.) is preferred, but not required

Job Title: Sales Engineer

Job Location: Upper Marlboro, MD

Job Duties:
Sell computer servers, processors, workstations and other hardware that require extensive technical expertise; corroborate with sales associates to understand customer requirements; plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs; prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain the company's custom build servers; confer with customers to assess their server needs and to determine system requirements.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Informatics or closely related field. Position also requires at least 11 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternative occupation of Technical Support Specialist or User Support Specialist. The required experience must include a minimum of 6 months experience in a company that sells computer servers or business workstations.
